Beverley White - printmaker and painter born 1957 in Salford moved, to Ambleside in 1980 after finishing a graphic design course at Salford College of Technology. Began wood engraving in 1989 and the following year submitted work to The Lake Artists Society summer exhibition for the first time, elected to membership in 2006. A keen interest in natural history provides the inspiration and subjects for wood engravings, linocuts and watercolours. Work is also exhibited locally and nationally :- Printfest, The Society of Wood Engravers, The Witherslack Group and The Mall Galleries - Originals.
