Rosetta Roberts studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing, Oxford. She first exhibited with the Lake Artists Society in 1967 and has been a member since 1969. She paints mainly in oils using a limited palette and her favourite subjects are landscape, people at work and old buildings. Rosetta also enjoys drawing animals, especially cats and horses, and is currently experimenting with conté and pastel. She has done some magazine illustration and is a competent diamond point glass engraver. Work can be seen at the Society's Summer Exhibition and at other local exhibitions.
