Born in Castleford, West Yorkshire. Moved to the Northern Lakes in 1989. Became a member of LAS in 2008.
After 50 years of working with clay, we’ve come to know each other’s limitations, each other’s strengths and weaknesses and together we make transient ideas permanent.
He’s intrigued by archaeology and the mystery of ancient civilisations, though the pieces he makes are of no particular time or place. Once made they’re no longer his.
Like any ancient artefact they’re open to interpretation, by you, the observer. The story you give them is as valid as any Geoff might have had in their creation.
