Rebecca Darbishire
Rebecca Darbishire was born in Cumbria in 1968.
Her love of wildflowers growing in and on the surrounding hedgerows, fells and woodlands began as a child and have been the inspiration for her paintings.
During her twenties, Rebecca studied Fine Art Finishes and different modalities of Energy Healing in London. Upon her return to the Lake District, she began to paint alongside her father in their shared studio.
Over the years Rebecca has collected old pottery jugs, vases and old glass jars and together with her flowers she loves creating compositions that invoke simplicity and beauty.
Rebecca has exhibited in the Marylebone Gallery, London, Beckstones Art Gallery, Nr Penrith and is a member of the Lake Artists society.
Her work can be found in private collections around the world.
Rebecca is also a qualified Shamanic energy medicine practitioner and a Reiki Master.
